Hand Carved Seder Plate

I waited over a year for the specific chisel to create this! The cutting edge is 40mm and has a subtle curve to it. Using hand tools to create this piece gives each dish of the seder plate a wonderful texture. The five dishes hold a shankbone, an egg, charoset, greens, and matzah for the first two nights of the Jewish holiday Passover. The center has a braided circle symbolizing spring and the circle of life, though that may change as I make more. As of now this is the only one I’ve created. More to come in time for next year.
