Our little girl is 10 weeks old and Windthrow is getting back into action. We are so excited about our little family and looking ahead to figure out what the future holds for us. This time away from work has given me some perspective and I’ve been painting quite a bit. I’m so excited to drop some new watercolor ketubah designs with whole new approach. Well, not an entirely new approach but my painting style is drastically developing. The lighting and depth in each piece is maturing showing color with a greater range of value and I hope to continue to push these skills with my watercolor painting. I’ll show you what I’m working on below.
Blue Ridge Mountains Ketubah Design by Windthrow
I’ve painted variations of this scene far more than the three versions shown here and each time a piece of the painting gets better, the mountain, the foliage, sky or foreground….what I need to do is tie them all together! Watercolor can be so fickle, it’s part of its charm. Stay tuned and I’ll post more soon.
