High Holy cHallah

I’ve designed a square Challah Board for those special times around Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This square Challah Board is made of walnut and holds one large round challah. The center is engraved with two braided circles, and the edges have a brass inlay detail which makes this board pop when setting the table. Having a circular shaped loaf symbolizes the cycle of life, and the rounding of a new year. Many Jews like to make this circular challah sweeter than normal for more enrichment to kick off the new year. This can be done by adding honey or raisins to the bread.
