My pup, Kai, leads me to all sorts of places. I should lead our walks but she tends to pull along. One crisp morning near the South Carolina border in Western NC she led me through the forest along the Green river and we stumbled along a mushroom patch. The morning light reflected off them beautifully and I laid down on the damp ground to photograph these mushrooms. From that photograph I created this 6.75” x 9.75” black and white etching.
