Becca is the live oak, I’m the Judaica ; )

After about a year of dating Becca commissioned the first live oak painting I created for her sister’s wedding in 2018. I had no idea where it would lead or that this would be the perfect blend of our backgrounds. This painting became our ‘Southern Live Oak Ketubah design’ and has been one of our best sellers! Years later I’ve created a new live oak design, our ‘Live Oak Ketubah design’ and I do not plan to stop there.

Live oak ketubah designs are this perfect combination of our backgrounds. We run this business together and while I was raised in a Jewish family in Pennsylvania, Becca comes from New Orleans, a city that celebrates the ancient trees which are scattered along the streets.

We now live in the mountains of North Carolina where we have made it a habit to plant trees where ever we can, in total we’ve planted about 40 trees in West Asheville and now 10 or so in Black Mountain. Too many small shrubs and flowers to keep track of.
