Challah Board Care Instructions

Wood, an ancient material, will endure for generations with proper care. We hope this challah board becomes part of your family’s story.

A couple of tips: When cleaning, hand wash with a soft brush and lay upright to dry. You can let your challah board take on an aged look or keep it fresh. That’s the beauty of wood. To refresh, sand the board lightly to buff out scratches with a high grit. To give the wood grain a shine, oil it with butcher block conditioner, beeswax, or any food-safe wood treatment.
